Tyler Erickson

My name is Tyler Erickson. I help clients realize their full potential through evidence-based practices. I enjoy helping people find their authentic self through exploring using Client-centered psychotherapy, and I am also well-versed in CBT or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT is a method that addresses assumptions that people have that may not actually be true. Especially things people think that are negative or simply untrue of themselves. I like to help people find their inner truth and, by doing so, live a more authentic life. One thing for sure is that I believe that you are the expert on you, and although I may have ideas for you, I will be most interested in hearing how you feel and how you think. We will always start with you!

My passion for wanting to help you, perhaps even though very difficult times in life or situations or circumstances that are unpleasant, comes from my experience of finding myself through my own therapeutic journey. We all have things to work out and we all need someone we can trust to coach us through that.

I enjoy working with couples as well as individuals. My work with couples is in helping them to better understand how different forms of communication can enhance their relationship. Everyone can benefit from practicing better communications, but I find that when I help couples with actual key words, sentences and phrases they can use and practice - that the work they do moves very quickly and very effectively.
