Jennifer Pendleton

Jennifer is a kind, warm, and down-to-earth person who believes that healing is a deeply personal journey—one that no one should have to walk alone. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck or uncertain about why life feels harder than it should. She sees these moments not as failures, but as invitations for growth, reflection, and self-discovery. She offers a supportive presence and walks alongside her clients with genuine care, curiosity, and respect with the primary goal of removing their pain and maximizing their happiness.

At the heart of Jennifer’s work is the belief that healing and identity are often closely connected. Whether someone is navigating everyday stress, major life transitions, or a sense of having lost themselves along the way, Jennifer creates a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and compassionate. She values warmth, empathy, and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship, and she strives to ensure that each client feels seen and understood as a whole person.

Jennifer understands that no two people are the same, and she believes mental health care should reflect that individuality. In sessions, she collaborates closely with clients to develop a personalized approach that fits their unique needs, goals, and experiences. While she frequently draws from psychodynamic therapy, she remains flexible and open to integrating other therapeutic methods when they may be helpful.

Her psychodynamic approach allows clients to gently explore how past experiences may be influencing present emotions, patterns, and relationships. Jennifer often finds that looking more deeply into personal history can offer meaningful insight into what keeps people feeling stuck, how they may have lost touch with themselves, and how they can reconnect with who they truly are. This process is always guided at a pace and tone that feels respectful and safe.

Jennifer has experience supporting clients with concerns related to self-esteem, depression, anxiety, autism, and life transitions. She has lived experience with a family member who has autism and neurodevelopmental challenges making her not just an expert with techniques and psychotherapy for these populations, but also with the patterns of life

She is a clinical mental health counseling student currently completing her master’s degree and internship under the supervision of Tim Jenkins, LCPC. Jennifer offers both in-person and telehealth appointments and is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care as clients move toward greater clarity, healing, and self-understanding.
