May Chappell is an associate counselor with a vibrant, friendly spirit and energy that is outgoing and supportive. May is engaging in her sessions with clients and it feels like she is so interested in you that you are the star of a show.

May has a special expertise in spiritual support, perinatal support and post-partum support. The challenges that women face in pre and post pregnancy, to birth and the hardships they face from transitions from stay at home, from working mom along with children’s illnesses and the obstacles of holding the family together in the face of trauma and emotional impacts.

May can use the ACES study as a resource which helps to understand childhood trauma and how it affects psychological functioning and development.

May has evening and Saturday hours available with no wait times. She can see couples, children, teens and adults.

May is masters degree prepared, counselor in training and is achieving the rigerous hours she needs post masters degreee under the direct supervision of Tim Jenkins, LCPC.
