Kathleen is an associate counselor that works with adults, teens and kids helping those who struggling with stress, anxiety depression, and challenging life transitions. Making decisions about what to do next in life is her expertise. It may be a pivot related to work, school or career, or a change that life is forcing you to deal with - transition is her expertise.

Kathleen’s interpersonal energy is off the charts. Clients and colleagues described her as warm, relatable and highly interactive. Much of her passion for helping lies in connecting people in families and helping challenged relationships to heal and reconnect. While at times substance use or maladaptive mental health results in behavioral problems that have disrupted relationships, Kathy is skilled at helping trauma survivors to heal and connect with support persons, and to dive deep into helping themselves.

In therapy sessions, Kathy has a friendly, interactive style of relating to people. If you have had other counseling experiences that feel like the counselor is lacking in engagement, your work with Kathy will feel the opposite. Her personality feels down to earth to talk with. She understands life challenges from a lived experience perspective and will amaze you with her knowledge and experience. But she is also engaged enough to challenge clients supportively, to see new perspectives and help them solve problems.

Kathleen’s counseling work is supervised by Tim Jenkins, LCPC

She can see clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna and Cigna.
